Currently, the only way to get Beheeyem in Pokemon GO without trading for it is through evolution. In GO, Beheeyem's prior evolution Elgyem can evolve into Beheeyem by being fed 50 Elgyem Candies. The only alternative is to find another trainer who has a Beheeyem and trade for it. All of this is further complicated by the fact that Elgyem doesn't appear as frequently as many other Pocket Monsters.

Fortunately, a perfect opportunity will arise on September 18-22, 2024, when the Psychic Spectacular 2024 event takes place. During this event, Elgyem will be appearing in the wild and as a reward for completing Field Research Tasks. If you're hoping to collect 50 candies for Elgyem and catch one, this is the event to participate in.

In addition, Elgyem has appeared in the following capacities in Niantic's mobile title:

• As a wild spawn since August 2020
• As a 5km, 7km, and 10km egg-hatchable Pokemon (this hasn't occurred since 2021's Unova Celebration event)
• As a tier-1 raid boss (this hasn't occurred since September 2023)
• As a reward encounter for both Field Research and Special Research tasks

How to get Shiny Beheeyem in Pokemon GO

The only ways to get Shiny Beheeyem in Pokemon GO are to evolve a Shiny Elgyem or trade for a Shiny Beheeyem. Unless its shiny rate is boosted during an event or other method, Elgyem has a base shiny appearance rate of 1/512, so finding one can be a task. However, by continuing to hunt this extraterrestrial-like Pokemon down, a moment will come when Shiny Elgyem appears.

Once you have your Shiny Elgyem, the 50 Elgyem Candies can be used to evolve your Shiny Elgyem into a Shiny Beheeyem. Aside from trading, this is currently the only way to obtain a Shiny Beheeyem, so you may have to work at things for a while to reach your goal. However, as previously noted, events like the 2024 Psychic Spectacular this September are monumentally helpful.
