How to find Bergmite in Pokemon GO
Bergmite will be a common wild spawn during Pokemon GO's Holiday Part 1 event. With the critter not set to appear during Holiday Part 2, players will want to get their hands on Bergmite before it goes away. While it is common, players might still struggle to find one. Thankfully, there are some helpful tips trainers can use to make encountering Bergmite much easier.
Being a pure Ice-type, Bergmite has a higher chance of spawning in snowy weather conditions thanks to Pokemon GO's weather boost mechanic. With the northern hemisphere being in its winter season, finding snowy weather will be easy for a large portion of the playerbase.
Items like Lure Modules and Incenses can also be used to passively increase the spawn rate of wild Pokemon around the player. However, these items will increase the spawn rate of all Pokemon, not just Bergmite.

Tips for finding Shiny Bergmite in Pokemon GO
Since there is no guaranteed way to get a Shiny Bergmite in Pokemon GO, grinding encounters is the best way for players to do so. Incenses and Lure Modules will again be incredibly helpful in this pursuit, alongside hunting in snowy weather conditions. Other than this, there is no better way for players to encounter a Shiny Bergmite.
However, December 17, 2024, will also be hosting the Bergmite and Slugma Spotlight Hour. While this event will not feature as many Bergmite spawns compared to if the creature was featured singularly, it is still the best chance players will have at finding a large quantity of Bergmite spawns to check for shininess.
Shiny Bergmite can easily be identified by its yellow accent colors that are white on the standard variant. On top of this, it will also show the iconic sparkles on-screen when one is encountered, so missing one will be incredibly difficult for trainers who pay close attention.
