To obtain Darkrai's license, players must participate in the Darkrai Commemorative Event, running from October 17 to November 11, 2024, at 12:00 AM UTC. During this event, players will complete challenges to earn nightmare periphery coins, which are required to trade for Darkrai’s license.

Steps to complete the Nightmare Periphery Challenge:

1) Log in daily for dice rolls: Every day during the event, you will receive one die just for logging in. Roll the die to advance on a board game-style map, progressing based on the number you roll.

Tip: You can only hold one die from login at a time, so make sure to roll daily.

2) Reroll using Aeos coins: If you are unsatisfied with your die roll, you can use Aeos coins to reroll. The game guarantees that your reroll will be a higher number than the original roll. You can reroll up to five times per die, giving you a better chance to advance further on the map.

3) Complete tile missions: When you land on a square, you will unlock unique tile missions. These are simple, such as using a Unite Move five times or participating in a match with Glaceon on either team. Completing these missions is necessary before you can roll again.

Tip: If you are in a rush, you can bypass tile missions by spending five Aeos gems.

4) Earn nightmare periphery coins: Upon reaching the end of each map, you’ll receive a random number of nightmare periphery coins:

100 coins (90% chance)
150 coins (10% chance)

You will need to collect 1,000 nightmare periphery coins to exchange for Darkrai’s license in the Nightmare Periphery Exchange.

5) Lucky squares: Landing on a lucky square can help speed up your progress by allowing you to advance one to three squares randomly.
