How to get Elekid in Pokemon GO

As of December 2024, these are the following ways to obtain Elekid:

• Hatch Eggs
• Trade
• Complete Research

Hatch Eggs

Since the introduction of Elekid in Pokemon GO on December 12, 2016, we have observed that it has come into the game as hatches in different Egg categories. It has also arrived in a 2 KM Egg, sometimes in a 7 KM Egg, and so on.

However, this time around, during the run of Charged Embers Hatch Day, it will be available in 2 KM Eggs. So, if you want this Baby Pokemon in your collection, you can partake in this occasion and hatch the items as much as you like.

When you pop these Eggs, the combat power of Elekid will lie between 640 CP - 689 CP. All hatched ones will be at Level 20, with a minimum IVs of 10/10/10.

Trade

You can also trade with your friends to get Elekid in Pokemon GO. Although a traded one will be at the same level, its IVs will change. Importantly, your friends can only give this Pocket Monster if you are within a trade distance of 100 meters. Moreover, you will need Stardust to make the exchange.
