Pikachu Pop Star in Pokemon GO can be found in the Wild Area Global event from 10 am - 6:15 pm local time on November 23 and 24, 2024 by players with a ticket. Shiny Pikachu Pop Star will also be available for the first time.

Developer Niantic debuted Pikachu Pop Star in Pokemon GO during GO Fest Global 2021, as part of the Special Research questline for Meloetta. This variant of the Mouse Pokemon was challenging to acquire due to its limited availability.

If you want Pikachu Pop Star in the game, you must follow one of these methods:

• Complete the Special Research Storyline
• Receive the monster from the Collection Challenge
• Take Go Snapshots
• Trade

1) Complete the Special Research Storyline

The Special Research Storyline of the Wild Area is segmented into two parts - Poison and Electric - each offering a different encounter with Pikachu Rock Star or Pop Star. However, since all gameplay is exclusive to ticket holders, one must buy the ticket in the in-game store to access the questline.

The ticket is expected to cost 11.99 USD for global trainers, and with this, you will be able to access the two type-themed Special Research opportunities. However, it is important to note that only those who choose the Electric path can get an encounter with Pikachu Pop Star in Pokemon GO.

2) Receive the monster from the Collection Challenge

Niantic is yet to reveal the overall details on the Collection Challenge of Wild Area, and most probably, you can acquire Pikachu Rock Star and several different in-game items by completing the challenge.

3) Take GO Snapshot
