Shiny Nightcap Snorlax in Pokemon GO is one of the rarest Pocket Monsters in the game. There are many costumed variants of Snorlax, and while most of them are rare, none quite take the cake as thoroughly as Shiny Nightcap Snorlax. The Sleep Pokemon with a blue nightcap sprinkled with white circles makes a fine addition to any collection.
In this article, we will walk you through everything you need to know to get a Shiny Nightcap Snorlax in Pokemon GO.

With the Slumbering Sands right on the horizon, you can catch many amazing creatures during this event in Pokemon GO. Snorlax wearing a Nightcap is one of these Pocket Monsters.
The Slumbering Sands event of Pokemon GO will start on June 7, 2024, at 10 am local time. You can play the event till June 12, 2024. There will be a Timed Research during this event, and you can encounter a Nightcap Snorlax from one of these research tasks.

You can encounter a Shiny Nightcap Snorlax in Pokemon GO through the Time Research Tasks. Besides this Pokemon, you will have encounters with:
- Visor Slakoth
- Komala
Out of these monsters, Nightcap Snorlax cannot be found as a wild spawn, making it extremely rare. The Shiny Nightcap Snorlax in Pokemon GO becomes even harder to get, given that you will have one encounter with the monster from the research task.
Usually, increased encounters with a monster increase your probability of getting a Shiny one. So, getting only one encounter with the Pokemon makes it astronomically difficult to get a Shiny Nightcap Snorlax in Pokemon GO.
Hopefully, the boosted Shiny odds of monsters from this Timed Research will make getting a Shiny variant of Nightcap Snorlax easier.
