Shiny Volcarona in Pokemon GO is a sparkling new sensation. Volcarona is a Bug- and Fire-type Pokemon you can get by evolving a Larvesta. This Pocket Monster made its in-game debut on May 2, 2023, through the An Indistinctive Hero event. To get Shiny Volcarona in Pokemon GO, you must first hunt for a regular variant of this Pocket Monster. However, you cannot catch one in the wild.

Volcarona is not available in the wild. To get this Bug- and Fire-type Pokemon, you must get a Larvesta, which evolves into Volcarona when you feed it 400 Larvesta Candies.

You can get Larvesta from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs. This Pokemon cannot be obtained from raids, research tasks, or the wild. You must get Eggs, incubate them, and then walk to hatch them. If you are lucky, you might get a Larvesta.

You can also get one via trade. So, if your friend has one, you can get this Pokemon from them.

How to get Shiny Volcarona in Pokemon GO

Although Shiny Volcarona can be acquired by evolving a Shiny Larvesta, getting the latter will be a tough hike. The odds of hatching one are infinitesimally slim and the grind can break your back if you are not lucky with the hatches. This is because hatching Eggs takes a lot of walking and Incubators don't come cheap.

If you are lucky, you can hatch a Shiny Larvesta from the eggs. Once you get a Shiny Larvesta, you can evolve it to get a Shiny Volcarona in Pokemon GO. You must feed Shiny Larvesta 400 Larvesta Candies to evolve it.
