The Snowflake Beanie Pikachu in Pokemon GO is a special winter costume version of the franchise mascot in Niantic's mobile game. It was first introduced during the 2019 Holiday event. The Pokemon has returned for the New Year event, which will last from 10 am local time on December 30, 2024, to 8 pm local time on January 1, 2025.

One-star raids

During the New Year 2025 event, you can find Pikachu in a Snowflake Beanie in one-star raids. These can be challenged either in person or using Remote Raid passes. The creature will have boosted shiny odds of approximately 1-in-64.

As a one-star raid boss, Pikachu will have 3,277 CP — you can easily take it down using a powerful Ground-type Pocket Monster. If you cannot find these raids around you, you can use Remote Raid apps to locate ones in other areas.

Evolving Pichu with Snowflake Beanie
