Togetic has been available in the wild since 2017. Developer Niantic has planned many events over the years that have featured this creature. The latest one is the Spotlight Hour event that runs from 6-7 PM local time on December 31, 2024.

To encounter and catch wild Togetic, you can search for it in in-game Cloudy and Windy weather areas. Also, using the Lure Module and Incense items in these weather conditions boosts the wild spawn rates of Togetic.

The type weaknesses of Togetic in Pokemon GO are Electric-, Ice-, Poison-, Rock-, and Steel-type moves. You can use these attacks to deal 160% additional damage when the Happiness Pokemon appears in raids.

The six best counters to Togetic raids are Dusk Mane Necrozma, Shadow Metagross, Shadow Magnezone, Shadow Rhyperior, Shadow Gengar, and Shadow Raikou.
