To celebrate the 2024 Pokemon World Championships, Niantic has distributed some cosmetic items, as well as special research quests, to Pokemon GO fans. However, rather than giving them to players automatically upon logging in during a certain time, these rewards can be redeemed by entering special codes shown during broadcasts featuring the game.

One of these rewards many players were excited to receive was the commemorative Worlds shirts that are given out yearly. While some players may not excitedly equip the new cosmetic to their avatar, many fans still appreciate the yearly return of these shirts so they can add them to their collection. Here is how players can get the new Worlds T-Shirt in Pokemon GO.

For those unaware, the two variants of the Worlds T-Shirt were released in Pokemon GO. These variants are restricted by different methods of acquisition. The white variant is the shirt given away through the game's championship livestream. During the broadcast, a code was displayed on-screen for players to redeem.

The code for the free Worlds T-Shirt in Pokemon GO is: A6NEWU63K9AU8

This code can be inputted on Niantic's web store for Pokemon GO under the "Offer Redemption" tab. After entering and redeeming the code, players can expect this item to be delivered to their account upon their next log-in, or within 24 hours.

Unfortunately, the blue variant of this shirt is no longer available as it was only given away at the venue of the World Championships. Fans had to complete a scavenger hunt to get their hands on this much rarer version of the shirt. Thankfully, the color is the only difference between the versions; the main design on the cosmetic item remains the same.

This is the only code given away that grants players free items in Pokemon GO, but the game is still going through its yearly celebration of the World Championships. This event goes from August 16, 2024, until August 20 and brings various high-tier creatures to the regular wild encounter tables.

Best Pokemon to look out for during Pokemon GO's World Championship celebration event

While there are many high-tier wild spawns like Carbink and Paldean Wooper that players should look out for, trainers should not overlook some of the Raid Bosses during this period as well. One such Raid Boss is the Galarian Stunfisk, one of the best creatures in the game's competitive Great and Ultra Leagues.

Carbink and Paldean Wooper are normally very rare creatures to come across, and they have the potential to become potent battlers if evolved or powered up. Other high-tier monsters like Marill, Mankey, and Lickitung can be encountered in the wild as well. These will become some of the best battlers upon reaching their maximum potential, excluding Lickitung, who is typically kept unevolved.
