If you want to solo defeat Medicham in Pokemon GO raids, you must create a raid party that focuses on exploiting its weaknesses. Being a Fighting and Psychic-type Pocket Monster, it is weak to the following elemental typings:

  • Fairy (160%)
  • Flying (160%)
  • Ghost (160%)

You can deal substantial damage to the monster by using attacks of these typings. No other moves can inflict the required damage needed to take it down.

Medicham, as a 3-star Raid Boss, has a raid time limit of 180 seconds, an HP of 3,600, a CP of 10,545, an Attack of 121, and a Defense of 152. Thus, to solo defeat Medicham in Pokemon GO, you’ll need strong counters that have a better stat spread than this creature. For example, a Mega Rayquaza at Level 40 has a CP of 5,713, an Attack of 377, a Defense of 210, and a Stamina of 215.

The Raid Boss appearing in Cloudy or Windy weather is more powerful than in other conditions. This happens due to the Weather Boost, an effect that increases the wild spawn rates, enhances battle capabilities, and influences CP.

The Weather Boost improves the power of a Raid Boss and its counters. For this reason, if you have a party of one typing to solo defeat Medicham in Pokemon GO, then visit locations with weather that favors the typing. Because of this effect, a Mega Rayquaza is effective against the raid monster in Windy weather.

Trainers have three minutes to complete the battle. As a result, one must use those Medicham counters that are reliable enough to make the quick work of the Raid Boss within 180 seconds.
