To beat Venusaur in Pokemon GO, you must capitalize on its weaknesses. As a Grass- and Poison-type Pocket Monster, it is 160% weak to Fire-, Flying-, Ice-, and Psychic-type moves. Numerous species can learn these moves in the game, but we recommend you stick with only those picks that give you an advantage.

The Weather Boost and STAB effect can significantly increase the damage output of a move. For example, Venusaur will receive heavy damage from Fire-type moves in Sunny Weather. If Fire-type Pokemon use the said attacks, they become more powerful, dealing additional damage. So, use the proper counters in the right weather to defeat Venusaur in Pokemon GO 3-star raids solo.

Venusaur can become strong with the activation of the Weather Boost effect, meaning if you tackle Venusaur during Sunny Weather, its Fast and Charged Attacks will be lethal. Plus, it’s worth noting that every move it knows can benefit from the STAB effect.

Venusaur in Pokemon GO knows Grass-type Charged Attacks like Petal Blizzard, Frenzy Plant, and Solar Beam. Dodging them in the battle is crucial for survival; otherwise, your counters can faint untimely. As such, we advise you to stock up on healing items like Max Revive to treat your counters.

As a final note, you will given 180 seconds to complete the 3-star Venusaur battles.
