Pokemon GO's upcoming Adventure Week: Taken Over event will once again see Team GO Rocket swarm the game world. Trainers are already preparing to battle them and save their corrupted Shadow Pokemon. The event will also see the arrival of a new Team GO Rocket bundle on the Web Store. But is it worth buying? All things considered, this bundle may not be worth its asking price.
While Pokemon GO trainers who are in a hurry might consider purchasing it, the Adventure Together: Taken Over event is four days long. Moreover, many rewards provided in the $9.99 (or equivalent) bundle can be easily obtained during the event.
Let's find out if the Pokemon GO Web Store Team GO Rocket bundle is worth buying or not.

Why the Pokemon GO Team GO Rocket bundle likely isn't worth players' time
According to the official announcement of the Team GO Rocket bundle by Niantic, it contains the following items for the price of $9.99 or the equivalent in a Pokemon GO trainer's country:
- Seven Rocket Radars
- Seven Premium Raid Passes
- Seven Ultra Balls
- Seven Silver Pinap Berries
While the theme around the number 'seven' is quaint, a majority of the items in this Pokemon GO Web Store bundle aren't that difficult to obtain, especially during the Adventure Week: Taken Over event. The Rocket Radars, which are used to battle the leaders Cliff, Arlo, and Sierra, are likely the most appealing items in the entire bundle, but they're not a necessity.
Since the Mysterious Components used to craft Rocket Radars can be obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket grunts (and completing Field Research Tasks in Adventure Week: Taken Over), trainers have plenty of time to assemble them on their own. Buying the Rocket Radars would speed up the process of obtaining a Super Rocket Radar to battle Giovanni and Shadow Cresselia, but that's about all.
With a four-day time limit for this Pokemon GO event, trainers have enough time to assemble multiple Rocket Radars. Additionally, obtaining Ultra Balls is easily accomplished by spinning Pokestop/gym photo discs once they've reached Level 20. Also, Silver Pinap Berries are a fairly common PvP reward to come across even if trainers aren't winning every match.
That leaves the Premium Raid Passes which, while useful due to their ability to stack in a player's inventory, don't operate any differently from ordinary raid passes. Players can hold more of them at once, which might be useful for battling the likes of Shadow Nuzleaf/Manectric/Vibrava in 3-star raids in quick succession. However, there isn't much of a rush for most trainers.
If players feel compelled to complete many activities during the Adventure Week: Taken Over event in Pokemon GO, then maybe the asking price isn't too much. However, with the event lasting four days, most players' objectives can be accomplished, especially if they have the time to defeat Team GO Rocket members and spin stops/gyms.
While the final decision comes down to the player, the contents of the Team GO Rocket bundle are meant for expedient gameplay. Moreover, the GO Web Store doesn't offer any bonuses like some other offerings it has provided in the past. Overall, this bundle may not have the best return on investment for trainers, and while it will still be purchased by some, others may want to pass on it.
