Litleo is a Normal/Fire dual type Pokemon that was introduced in Generation VI. It evolves into Pyroar, which has a different evolution based on gender. It is naturally hot-blooded, which makes the Fire typing rather accurate and is known as the “Lion Cub” Pokemon.

Appearance
Litleo is a small, quadrupedal cat-like Pokemon with a brown body although its ears, paws, face and the tip of its tail are light brown. It has a short muzzle that is rounded off with an orange nose and small mouth with dark, circular eyes and white pupils. Its paws have three toes with white pads while a tail ends in a teardrop-like shape. It has a red tuft of fur on top of its head, in between its ears, which later grows into something similar to a mane when Litleo evolves into its next stage, with it common for each form.
Behavior
Litleo is a naturally hot-blooded Pokemon that is curious by nature and will quickly start fights, and its mane will radiate heat in the midst of a battle. Litleo live in prides, just like lions do but once a wild Litleo is capable of hunting on its own, it is kicked out of the pride to live on its own. Litleo is a strong fighter, probably because of its temper and hot-blooded nature.

Litleo is weak to Fighting, Ground, Rock and Water type Pokemon as these will do twice as much damage to Litleo. It is immune to Ghost type Pokemon. These will do no damage. Litleo is resistant to Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Fairy and Ice type Pokemon. These types will only do half the damage when fighting Litleo and it is also strong when attacking Ice and Grass types.

Litleo has a lot of strong moves including Fire Blast, which is a move that has 130 power and 90% accuracy. Here are Litleo’s best moves: Flare Blitz has 33% recoil and a 10% chance to burn the target and it will also thaw the user, if needed. Overheat will lower the user’s Special Attack by 2 and Solar Beam charges up in one turn and hits the next. Finally, Fire Blast has a 10% chance of burning the target.

How to catch Litleo in Pokemon Go?
Litleo can be found in areas that are grassy as well as in areas that are around fire. If it is hot outside, the chances of Litleo spawning grow. It evolves into Pyroar, the form is dependent upon the gender, once you get 50 candies. They also hatch out of 2km eggs and have been one star Raid bosses in the past, so keep an eye out.
