All of the best have to start somewhere and one of the best starters in Pokemon right now is the fire type starter Litten. While the Pokemon itself isn’t incredibly spectacular, the Pokemon it evolves into, Incineroar, is one of the most popular Pokemon both casually and competitively.

Appearance
Litten is basically a cat. It's a small, housecat-sized feline with black fur and red markings which are similar to tiger stripes. It has yellow eyes and instead of whiskers it has large tufts of red fur on its cheeks.
Behavior
Litten acts much like an actual cat. Largely seeming outwardly cold and emotionless and being difficult to get it to open up. However once it does, it also behaves like a cat, becoming more emotionally open and will be rather kind and affectionate.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Litten is a pure fire type so its type matchups are easy to remember. It is strong against bug, steel, fire, grass, ice, and fairy type moves, taking only half damage from them. However it is weak to ground, rock, and water type moves and takes double damage from them.
Shiny Litten
Shiny Litten is the rare recolored version of Litten. Shiny Litten has few changes between itself and its normal form. In fact, the only difference in Shiny Litten is that its black fur is now white.
Best Moveset for Litten
Intimidating Swap Out: Litten has the ability Intimidate which makes it a good choice for being a Pokemon which is sent out to the field multiple times. Using U-turn, this Pokemon can lower an opponent’s attack stat over and over and over again. Add Will-O-Wisp to that combo to lower attack further makes Litten ideal for stalling out strong opponents.

How to Catch Litten in Pokemon Go
Litten is not yet available in Pokemon Go, however it can be easily assumed that it will function like other starters. It will be relatively rare but appear where other fire types are found and can be evolved into Torracat with 25 Litten candy.
