Appearance

Milcery is a cream-colored Pokemon that resembles a splash of liquid, specifically milk or cream. It has two arms and a crown of six protrusions made out of this liquid with droplets constantly falling on top of them and completely white eyes

Behavior

Milcery is said to be born from sweet smelling particles in the air and patisseries visited by Milcery are guaranteed success and good fortune. Alcremie and Milcery are a female-only species, although they can alter their own forms through a chemical transformation resembling alchemy.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Milcery has pretty decent stats, with its best stats being it’s relatively high special attack and special defense with these specific stats assisting its status as a fairy-type Pokemon. As a fairy-type Pokemon, Milcery is weak to poison and steel-types, immune to dragon-types and resistant to fighting, bug, and dark-types. Milcery has two effective abilities, Sweet Veil, (prevents the Alcremie and its allies from falling asleep) and it’s hidden ability, Aroma Veil (protects allies from attacks that limit their move choices).

Shiny Milcery

Shiny Milcery is a version of Milcery that is colored plain white with black eyes instead of a pink body with white eyes. Shiny Milcery can be found via luck or by continuously breeding Alcremies or Milcery. Like all shiny Pokemon, Shiny Milcery gains a starry animation upon entering battle.

Evolving Milcery

Evolving Milcery can occur when its Trainer spins and strikes a pose while Milcery is holding a Sweet. Its evolution, Alcremie, has nine separate flavors depending on the direction the trainer spins, the amount of time the trainer has spun and the time of day it evolves.

These form changes are only aesthetic. Vanilla Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning clockwise for less than 5 seconds during the day. Ruby Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning counterclockwise for less than 5 seconds during the day. Matcha Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning clockwise for less than 5 seconds at night. Mint Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning counterclockwise for more than 5 seconds at night. Lemon Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning clockwise for more than 5 seconds at night. Salted Cream Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning counterclockwise for less than 5 seconds at night. Ruby Swirl Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning counterclockwise for more than 5 seconds during the day. Caramel Swirl Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning clockwise for more than 5 seconds during the day. Rainbow Swirl Alcremie is formed by the trainer spinning counterclockwise for more than 10 seconds between 7:00 PM and 7:59 PM in-game time.

The exact sweet used to evolve Milcery into Alcremie form the sweet "hair decoration" of Alcremie and causes its eye color. These sweets, which are necessary for evolving Milcery can be obtained by battling at a Battle Cafe (in the case of the Strawberry, Love, Berry, Clover, and Flower Sweets), the Cram-o-matic in the Isle of Amour Expansion, and as a "Today's Highlight" option from the Watt Trader in Slippery Slope within the Crown Tundra Expansion. All Sweets could be obtained by completing Wild Area News Milcery Max Raid Battles that were held from January 31 to February 16, 2020 (the only way for players to obtain the Ribbon and Star Sweets before the Isle of Armor DLC).

Best moveset

As a fairy-type, Milcerry is strong against popular competitive Pokemon types, notably fighting and dragon-types. Milcery has two abilities, Sweet Veil, which prevents the Pokemon and allies from falling asleep and it’s hidden ability, Aroma Veil, which protects allies from attacks that limit their move choices. Of these two, Aroma Veil is effective if your team is dependent on specific moves, though Sweet Veil is more useful overall. Dazzling Gleam serves as Milcery’s main STAB (same-type attack bonus) move, utilizing its high special attack, Mystical Fire also utilizes Milcery’s high special attack and serves as type coverage. Recover allows Milcery to heal itself, while Calm Mind raises Milcery’s already high special attack and special defense.
