Appearance of Morpeko
Morpeko is a tiny, rodent-like Pokemon. It is very short and chubby. It can switch forms from Full Belly Mode to Hangry Mode, as shown in the anime. Both forms have short, chubby limbs. They both also have pink cheek spots. It has a zig-zagging pattern going down its face. This pattern stops at the waist and spreads over its lower body. Its eyes are circular unless it is Hangry, in which case they turn red and angry looking. The Full Belly Mode has a single, bucktooth while the Hangry Mode has a full mouth of teeth, presumably to cause harm. The Hangry Mode turns black and purple rather than the brown, yellow, and grey coloring of the Full Belly Mode.
Behavior of Morpeko
Morpeko carries roasted berry seeds around in its pocket, which it protects until it needs to eat a snack. It will always be hungry no matter what it eats, so the longer it goes and the hungrier it gets, the closer to Hangry Mode it becomes. It becomes extremely aggressive and violent, committing evil acts when in this mode. Once the hunger is satisfied, it will attack anyone who tries to feed it after that. Morpeko’s hunger level is a delicate balance.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Morpeko is immune to Psychic types, these will do no damage to Morpeko. It is resistant to Flying, Ghost, Steel, Electric, and Dark-type Pokemon. These will do half the damage. Morpeko is weak to Fighting, Ground, Bug, and Fairy types. These do twice the damage to Morpeko.
Best moveset (Morpeko)
Morpeko has a lot of strong moves, including one move that has 120 power and 100% accuracy. Here are Morpeko’s best moves. Outrage and Thrash last 2-3 turns and can confuse the opponent after.

FAQs
Q. What kind of animal is Morpeko?
Morpeko seems to be the cute rodent of the Galar region in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It is akin to Pachirisu, Plusle, Dedenne and Minun. Only one of these, Morpeko, gets angry.
Q. When should I use Morpeko?
The best way to utilize Morpeko is as a late-game sweeper, using Aura Wheel (which Morpeko alone can use) and Choice Band. After one Aura Wheel, it can outspeed even Dragapult and can defeat a lot of Pokemon.
Q. Can I evolve Morpeko?
No. Morpeko has never been known to evolve in any iteration. It can, however, change forms (an ability unique to Morpeko) with the Hunger Switch ability. This changes back and forth between Full Belly Mode (the standard) and Hangry Mode.
Q. Which Pokemon are constantly hungry?
Just Morpeko. Morpeko is constantly hungry and the balance between Hangry and Full Belly Mode is delicate and it often switches to Hangry in the blink of an eye. Its cheeks are constantly generating energy.
Q. How rare is Morpeko?
In Pokemon Sword and Shield, Morpeko has a 5% spawn rate, making it very rare. It can be found on Route 7 and it is an overworld spawn, making it a little easier to find.
Conclusion
Morpeko is an extremely unique Pokemon. It has the ability to switch forms back and forth, which no other Pokemon has. It also has a type combination that no other Pokemon have. Even its stat totals are entirely unique. While a relatively new addition to the Pokemon world, Morpeko is already one of the most unique entries in the Pokedex.
