Pokemon GO, the augmented reality mobile game that has just progressively gotten better over the years, isn't without its quirks. Recently, a Reddit user by the name of xOptimusCrime shared a particularly amusing screenshot that had the community in splits.
Along with a screen grab of the incident, the Reddit user added the comment:
"My app froze and gave me this gem"

In the post, one could see how the app froze, resulting in a wild Alolan Exeggutor with its long neck and the top of its head abruptly cut off by the top edge of the screen. This left only its lower body visible, with the rest of the face hilariously staring at the player, resembling an anime stare-down.
The Reddit post quickly garnered attention and prompted a wave of humorous responses from the community.
One user, Half-BloodPrincesss, humorously commented:
"do you have any games on your phone?"
This classic meme line resonated with many, with Forgffg filling in that this was something they heard from their cousins every Christmas.
The relatability of this remark struck a chord with many others.
Another user, st4r_ch4s3r22, took a different approach, quipping that Exeggutor might be trying to ask about the extended warranty of the user's car.
"I think he wants to ask you about your car’s extended warranty"
This playful twist added to the comedic effect of the glitch.
AwardSignal contributed to the discussion, saying that Exeggutor might be upset with the user for trying to catch it with a regular Pokeball.
This imaginary dialogue sure did add a layer of personality to the glitch, making it even more entertaining.

While glitches like these can be amusing, frequent app crashes can be frustrating. Here are some tips to help keep your Pokemon GO experience smooth:
- Upgrade your device: If possible, use a newer smartphone or tablet. This can help resolve performance issues that might cause the app to freeze or crash.
- Stable Internet connection: Ensure you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection or a strong mobile data signal while playing to avoid abrupt network disconnects.
- Update and reinstall the application: Regularly updating your app to the latest version can fix many bugs and glitches. If issues continue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
- Let the device cool down: Overheating can cause apps to have functional failures or lead to lag. Turn off all background applications, let your device cool down, and then try reopening the game sometime later.
