Pokemon GO July Community Day will feature Tynamo, the EleFish Pokemon, according to a post on the game's official X handle and blog. The event will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, marking the debut of Shiny Tynamo as well as its evolved forms, Shiny Eelektrik and Shiny Eelektross.

The Pokemon GO July Community Day will feature several bonuses, of which the most exciting ones are:
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
- 2x Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Other than this, the extra duration for Lure Modules and Incense, cheaper Trades, and additional Special Trades in Pokemon GO will also be active during the event.
Players who evolve Eelektrik into Eelektross during the event or up to five hours after will get an Eelektross that knows the Fast Attack, Volt Switch. This is one of the best Electric-type Charged Attacks in the game. Early simulations on PvPoke suggest that it has the potential to improve the critter's status in the Great League of Pokemon GO substantially.
Tynamo Community Day will also feature highly boosted shiny rates, a Paid Special Research story for $1 (or equivalent regional pricing), a free Timed Research track awarding up to four Unova Stones, four-star raids featuring Eelektrik, special PokeStop Showcases, and even-themed bundles and stickers.
All things considered, the Pokemon GO July Community Day appears to be a promising prospect for old and new players.
