Pokemon GO datamine leaks Max and Gigantamax moves list

With the 8th Anniversary Picture teasing Dynamax forms' debut, the recent set of Pokemon GO datamine reported several Max and G-Max moves. The list was shared by Pokeminers, a well-known Pokemon GO dataminer, on their Threads account. These moves debuted in the mainline series with Generation VIII as part of the Dynamax battle gimmick.

Beyond the reported Pokemon GO datamines on the matter, there's not much that we currently know regarding how Dynamax and Gigantamax will work in Niantic's game. Readers are thus advised to take the information with a grain of salt and wait for official communication from the developers before getting their hopes up.

When a Pokemon is Dynamaxed, it gains Max Moves in place of its normal moves. Similarly, Gigantamaxed Pokemon gains special moves that are only available to this form.

The latest set of Pokemon GO datamines also provided a look at Dynamax assets, "including station icons, raid emblems, max move sound effects, etc." These new forms are likely to arrive in the next season, with Shared Skies due to conclude at the beginning of September 2024.
