Niantic has shared the Pokemon GO Fest 2025 dates and cities where the in-person gameplay will take place. As usual, the roster includes one city each in Asia, Europe, and the United States. The event will take place throughout May and June 2025. The dates for the global event remain unannounced.
Pokemon GO Fest 2025 will take place in the following cities on the corresponding dates:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29–June 1, 2025
- Jersey City, New Jersey: June 6–8, 2025
- Paris, France: June 13–15, 2025
Interested trainers — especially those wishing to travel internationally for the event — can begin planning their trips around these times.

What to expect from Pokemon GO Fest 2025

Nothing has been revealed about the 2025 Pokemon GO Fest outside of the event dates. However, certain things happen every year, and you can expect to see them in this edition as well.
There will be at least one shiny debut during each in-person event in the three cities. In 2024, these critters were Emolga, Crabrawler, and Ducklett. There are also certain shiny debuts reserved for the global event, including a pseudo-legendary. In 2025, there is a high chance of the Frigibax family making its shiny debut.
Other than shiny debuts, there will be fascinating legendary raids, altered Egg pools, and so on. GO Fest also features exciting bonuses, especially for trainers willing to pay for tickets. These include extra Raid Passes, reduced Hatch distance, boosted shiny odds, and so on.
Trainers not in Osaka, Jersey City, or Paris can expect in-game events corresponding to the city events during Pokemon GO Fest 2025.
