Pokemon GO's next season will reportedly be called Max Out, if recent reports are to be believed. The information was shared by @LeekDuck, a well-known Pokemon GO source, on their official X channel. It must be noted that Niantic is yet to officially confirm this and, as such, the name should be taken with a grain of salt until they do so.

The upcoming season will begin as soon as Season of Shared Skies ends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10 am local time. With less than two weeks left, we will likely hear more about what lies ahead in Pokemon GO soon.

Max Out - Pokemon GO upcoming season name reportedly revealed

@LeekDuck noted in their post that the name was "accidentally shared on an official post" which had the upcoming season's logo. The reported post was then "removed shortly after." As of now, there's nothing concrete known about the next season apart from the Community Day dates.

Niantic recently teased the debut of Morpeko and Dynamax forms in Pokemon GO. The Galar Two-Sided Pokemon is set to be "coming soon," with the Gen VIII pocket monster shown to be changing forms during battle.

The Dynamax mechanic was teased in a clip that stated "Something big is coming." The official blog post accompanying it states:

"We’ve all learned a gigantic amount from exploring the world and encountering all sorts of Pokémon together over the last eight years, and yet there always seem to be new mysteries to uncover, looming just over the horizon. A new Season means big changes, big battles, and…big Pokémon? We wonder what awaits on your next Pokémon GO adventure…"

These two will likely arrive in the upcoming season. It remains to be seen how Niantic incorporates them in-game and what else lies ahead for Pokemon GO trainers.
