Before heading into the process, check out the Pokemon GO Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day bonuses so that you know how the Max Particle mechanics are different on December 8 from other days.

There are three main ways to go about the process:

• You had not claimed a +300 MP for walking between 12 - 5 am and started with more than 880 MP
• You had not claimed a +300 MP for walking between 12 - 5 am and started with more than 1,260 MP
• You had claimed a +300 MP for walking between 12 - 5 am and started with more than 960 MP

In the first process, you must first collect the 300 MP from the walk. After this, finish one battle. Then walk 500m twice to collect 600 MP twice. Following this, you can visit one Power Spot to harvest 820 MP, bringing your total to 2,400 MP. You can challenge three more G-Max Lapras using this.

In the second process, you have to walk less. You start with 1,260 MP on December 8, 2024. Once the clock strikes 2 pm, complete one Max Battle. Then walk 500 m to claim 600 MP. You can now complete your second battle. Now collect MP from two Power Spots to bring your total daily collection above 1,600 MP.

The third process is the same as the second. The only difference is that you had to start with 960 particles instead of 1,260.

Irrespective of the process you follow, make sure you don't have less than 1,000 MP when clicking a Power Spot lest you should have MP forced on you despite not wanting it.

You can do a maximum of nine Pokemon GO G-Max Lapras Battles without purchasing MP from the store if you have the event ticket. The MP collection limit for such players is 5,600. This makes it much easier to hoard the resource without having to expend some before collecting more.
