Pokemon GO Sableye Spotlight Hour will take place in Niantic's AR-based mobile game on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 6 - 7 pm local time. This is the first event of its kind in December 2024, and it offers an exciting 2x Catch Stardust bonus. That in itself is enough for hardcore trainers to not miss this event. However, there is something else that makes this event a must-attend.
Sableye is one of the many Pocket Monsters that award extra Stardust when caught in Pokemon GO. Put that together with the present event bonus, and the Pokemon GO Sableye Spotlight Hour gives you a chance to boost up your coffers with this precious resource.
How to make the most out of the December 3 Pokemon GO Sableye Spotlight Hour

Capturing Sableye in Pokemon GO during regular times gives you 750 Stardust. Compare this to the 100 Stardust that you get for capturing base forms of creatures, and you will see why this bonus being applied to Sableye is a big deal.

With weather boost and/or Star Piece multipliers in play, you can further increase this loot. Here is a breakdown of how much Stardust you can collect from each catch during the Pokemon GO Sableye Spotlight Hour:
- Base Stardust: 750 (1,500 with the event bonus)
- Weather Boosted: 938 (1,876 with the event bonus)
- Star Piece: 1,125 (2,250 with the event bonus)
- Weather + Star Piece: 1,406 (2,812 with the event bonus)

To make the most out of this event, utilize Origin Forme Dialga's Roar of Time Adventure Effect. Using this will allow you to keep your Star Piece active for the entire hour instead of the 30 minutes that it typically lasts for.
Additionally, make sure you have ample Poke Balls and Pokemon Storage space. If you can, use the Quick Catch method in Pokemon GO to capture as many Sableye as you can within the single hour.
Apart from this, the Pokemon GO Just My Cup of Tea event kicks off on December 3, 2024. Check it out as it has a Stardust-related bonus as well.
