Niantic is being generous with their compensatory Timed Research. Each trainer will receive a personalized version of this Timed Research, based on the following factors:

• Each trainer will receive Research based on the number of Remote Raids that they did on the first day of Pokemon GO Fest 2024: Global.
• The special Timed Research will award encounters equal to the Special Background that each trainer could have received during the event if it functioned properly.
• This special Timed Research will be active till December 31, 2025.

It is currently unknown when this special Timed Research will arrive in the game. However, since this special Research will be available till the end of 2025, every trainer should have ample time to complete it and grab the special critters with Special Backgrounds.
