Appearance
Nikit is a reddish orange fox-shaped Pokemon with a slim body and a larger head in relation to its small frame. It has long black ears, white spots on the head similar to the eyebrows, small spots around the eyes resembling tears, and mask-like markings around the yellow eyes. There are also strands of hair on either side of Nickit's head. It has a white belly and chest, its legs are black, its tail is very long and its black tip is like a bag.
Behavior
Nickit is a cunning thief who likes to steal food from others instead of spending time searching for food on his own. They have incredibly soft pads that compress slightly when they come in contact with the ground, allowing them to move quietly without being noticed. They can scan their paw prints with their tails, so it is difficult to find them. Nickit has fierce competition with the Pokemon, Purrloin.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Due to it being the first evolutionary stage of an early game Pokemon, Nickit has relatively low stats, with relatively high special defence and speed stats. As a dark-type Pokemon, Nickit is weak to fighting, bug, and fairy-type moves, immune to psychic-types, and resistant to ghost and dark-type moves.
Best moveset
Snarl is Nickit’s main STAB (same-type attack bonus) move for inflicting special attack damage and Mud Shot serves as effective type coverage. Finally, Taunt and Nasty Plot are both effective status effects, since Taunt prevents the target from using non damaging moves and Nasty Plot raises Nickit’s Special Attack.
