Appearance of Obstagoon
Obstagoon looks similar to a badger, which is in line with the design of Galarian Zigzagoon and Linoone, however, it stands upright and also takes inspiration from a gnoll, or humanoid hyena. Its fur patterns and humanoid traits appear to take inspiration from the styles of Glam rock bands.
Behavior of Obstagoon
Obstagoon is a hardened and bulky form of its pre-evolutions. While Zigzagoon may be skittish and Linoone more confident, Obstagoon is strong and stubborn. If it faces danger, it stands in its way and refuses to back down.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Obstagoon’s typing is an interesting combination, giving it some good resistance. It is strong against Dark-type moves and takes half damage from them and is entirely immune to ghost and psychic-type moves. Though its weaknesses are also quite strong, taking double damage from bug and fairy type moves as well as quadruple damage from fighting type moves.
Shiny Obstagoon
Shiny Obstagoon is the rare, recolored version of Obstagoon. Shiny Obstagoon takes the design of Glam rock to the max and brings out lots of bright colors. The fur patterns of a Shiny Obstagoon are changed to a harsh red color as well as its clothing-like fur being a deep cyan color. Shiny Obstagoon also has white accents in the same places as its normal form but it pairs differently with its new coloring.
Galarian Obstagoon
Galarian Obstagoon is not a new form of Obstagoon. In fact, Galarian Obstagoon is just Obstagoon. It is a mistake that seems to stem from thinking the Obstagoon existed outside of the Galar region and its appearance in Sword and Shield are a special Galarian Obstagoon form. However, this is only true for its pre-evolutions, Zigzagoon and Linoone. Obstagoon has no Galarian form as it is a Galarian exclusive Pokemon.
Best Moveset for Obstagoon
Gutsy: Obstagoon’s best ability is Guts, which boosts its attack when it's afflicted with a status. This makes it a perfect counter to stalling Pokemon which are very defensive and use status moves to whittle down opponents.

How to Catch Obstagoon in Pokemon Go
Obtaining Obstagoon in Pokemon Go is just the same as in the mainline games. Catching a Galarian Zigzagoon and then evolving it into a Galarian Linoone then using 100 Zigzagoon candy to evolve the Galarain Linoone. Though, unlike the mainline games, it does not require the time to be night.
