Orbeetle is a Bug Psychic dual type Pokemon that was introduced in Generation VIII. This type combination is completely unique and only Orbeetle and its previous evolutions have it. It is the final evolution of Blipbug, with Dottler being the intermediate stage. It is known as the Seventh Spot Pokemon and has a 50% chance of spawning as either male or female.

Appearance
Orbeetle is an insectoid Pokemon that resembles a ladybug. It has a red shell with seven black spots, hence why it is known as the Seventh Spot Pokemon. Its face is black and white with yellow antennae and it also has thin limbs with sharp yellow legs.
Behavior
Orbeetle is known for their intelligence as it has a large brain, proof of the immense psychic power it holds. It can emit psychic waves to study its surroundings up to six miles away. It can fly but it doesn’t and instead, it uses its psychic powers to lift up its entire body. When Gigantamaxed, it has enough psychic power to easily control everyone in the area’s minds.
Strengths and Weaknesses
As a Bug and Psychic type Pokémon, Orbeetle is weak against Flying, Bug, Rock, Fire, Dark and Ghost type moves and will take twice the normal damage from them. It is not immune to any Pokemon but is resistant to Ground, Grass and Psychic types, which will do half the damage while Fighting type moves do a quarter the damage. There is no advantage or disadvantage with Normal, Dragon, Fairy, Poison, Steel, Ice, Electric and Water types.
Best moveset (Orbeetle)
Orbeetle has a lot of strong moves including Giga Impact, which is a move that has 150 power and 90% accuracy. Here are Orbeetle’s best moves: Giga Impact leaves the user unable to move in the next turn, Solar Beam charges on turn 1, hits on turn 2, except in sunlight while Future Sight hits two turns after it is used. Finally, Bug Buzz has a 10% chance to lower the target’s Special Defense by 1.

How to catch Orbeetle in Pokemon Go?
Neither Blipbug, Dottler or Orbeetle are available in Pokemon Go currently. It is likely that all Pokemon will eventually make it into the game, but there are plenty that haven’t made it yet. Furthermore, even though it is a Generation VIII Pokemon, it did not make it into the Sword and Shield event for Pokemon Go.

Is Orbeetle in Pokemon Sword and Shield?
Yes. Orbeetle can be found in Route 2-Lakeside, with a 30% chance to spawn in All Weather. Blipbug can also be found with the same stipulations in the same location and evolves to Dottler at level 10. Dottler spawns the same way the other two do.
Is there a shiny Orbeetle?
Yes, although not in Pokemon Go. The majority of Pokemon do have a shiny counterpart and most of them have made an appearance in Pokemon Go. The Dottler, Blipbug and Orbeetle shiny versions get their signature red swapped out for a purple sort of color.
