Pokemon GO has released some interesting mechanics over the years, with some being more helpful than others. One of the rather underwhelming features released in recent years is Party Play, which players can set up by grouping up together to play the game in real time. This offers unique bonuses to the party as well.
However, Party Play's effect in Raid Battles may have the power to boost one creature in particular and elevate them above the staple Legendary Raid Battlers experienced players have come to expect. Using Party Power, Origin Dialga may have what it takes to become the preferred battler of choice for many.

Party Power is a boost Pokemon GO players will receive when challenging Raid Battles with other users in their party. Doing so places a meter towards the bottom of the player's screen. When this bar is filled, the active Pokemon's next charged attack will be much stronger.
This can be difficult to coordinate, as it requires many players to be together in the same location, with both parties willing to challenge a Raid Battle. While this is much easier for urban areas where the game is still popular, it can be borderline impossible for users in rural communities, where player numbers for the game are nearly non-existent.

How to use Party Play to super-charge your Origin Dialga in Pokemon GO
Origin Dialga's access to Roar of Time makes its total damage output with Dragon-type moves on par with Mega Rayquaza, the creature seen as the best possible Raid Battler in fights where it has the type advantage. However, thanks to Party Power, Roar of Time's damage now allows Origin Dialga to exceed Mega Rayquaza's damage per second.
Since Origin Dialga is an alternate form of Dialga, rather than being a power-up like Mega Evolution or Primal Reversion, players can put Origin Dialga on a team with a Mega Evolved Dragon-type to receive an even higher boost to its damage. This makes it a great ally to pair with Mega Rayquaza, or other Mega Dragons like Salamence, Charizard X, and Latias.

Earlier, Mega Rayquaza held the edge on damage per second over Origin Dialga due to Outrage's slightly faster recharge time. Now, the boost from Party Power super-charges Roar of Time to the point where the burst damage is worth the extra half-second wait time. This makes it a great choice for groups of players looking to take down Legendary Raids optimally.
However, given how difficult it can be for many players to set up Party Play with their friends, many users will still likely go with Mega Rayquaza to carry out their raids for the sake of convenience. Mega Rayquaza can also be used for Remote Raids, while this Party Power Origin Dialga is more helpful for in-person Shadow or Elite Raids.
