Is Bastiodon good in Pokemon GO PvP?

Bastiodon is good for Pokemon GO PVP’s Great League, Fossil Cup, and Fantasy Cup. It has an Attack stat of 81, while its Defense and Stamina stats complement its seemingly low offensive power. Yet, the creature is an attacker and delivers its best performance by assuming a Closer's role in a team.

The downside of Pokemon GO Bastiodon is that it is 4x weak to Fighting and Ground-type attacks. Secondly, its Charged Attacks take time to release, which makes trainers rely heavily on the Fast Attacks. This delay gives the opponents plenty of time to release their Charged Attacks first. As a result, a trainer with Bastiodon struggles to create a scenario with a Shield advantage.

Is Bastiodon good in Pokemon GO PvE?
