Introduced in Generation 3, Pokemon GO Cradily is a dual Grass- and Rock-type Pocket Monster from the Hoenn region. You will have to teach the creature its best moveset to make it powerful. There are numerous counters against Cradily in the game, so it is important to be aware of them. This monster is challenging to encounter for trainers, as a result, it is best to evolve a Lileep into a Cradily by spending Pokemon Candies.
In comparison, the likelihood of finding Lileep in GO is higher than finding its evolved form. The Spotlight Hour event of August 2024 features Lileep and provides a special bonus of 2× Catch Candy. The special bonus helps you farm these consumable items.
Now, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about Pokemon GO Cradily, including the best movesets it should learn, the counters against it, and whether it is good in the game.

Is Cradily good in Pokemon GO PvP?
Cradily is weak to four different moves, and with so many Pokemon available in the game that can learn these attacks, the creature is pretty much helpless against them.
Cardily is not offensively strong due to its moderate Attack stat, and its move options aren’t impressive either. Moreover, its Fast Move slot has no room for Rock-type attacks, which is a must for STAB damage.
That said, Pokemon GO Cradily is good for the Great League and Fossil Cup of PvP modes, but it is underwhleming in formats like the Ultra League and Master League.
Is Cradily good in Pokemon GO PvE?
Pokemon GO Cradily has no real viability in PvE play, which are Gym defense and Raid. This is because the entity is only good at tanking Pokemon moves. However, it isn't great at attacking Pocket Monsters due to its low Attack stat.
The Total Damage Output (TDO) of its best moveset in these formats is just 322.92, meaning Cradily is a rather weak critter overall.
