Pokemon GO Dazzling Dream is a brand-new event being hosted by Niantic. You can participate in it from Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10 am local time through Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 8 pm local time. This means you will have about four days to enjoy all the bonuses and unique monsters that come with the event.

This article will walk you through the whole event and tell you everything you need to know about Dazzling Dream, including the best ways to prepare for it.

How to prepare for the Dazzling Dream event in Pokemon GO

Managing Pokemon Storage

One of the key highlights of this event is the Stardust bonus you get for catching and hatching monsters during it. So, you will want to capture as many creatures as you can during this event. The more Pokemon you catch, the more Stardust you get.

So, clearing out your Pokemon Storage and making space for new ones would be a splendid start to preparing for this content. You would not want to obtain a few monsters and waste time transferring a bunch of them elsewhere to make space for more. This would not be an efficient way to play.

Make sure you have at least 300 empty slots in your Pokemon Storage whenever you start the Dazzling Dream event. Since it spans four days, you can clean your storage once every day to make space for new critters.

Managing Item Storage

Berries are not that important during this event. So, we would advise you to allot most of the space in your Item Storage to balls. Try to focus on Great and Ultra Balls as they make the process of catching monsters easy with a higher catch rate.

You can focus on the 10 and 12-km eggs as they will give you the most Stardust — 10-km eggs grant you around 1,600 to 3,200 Stardust and 12-km eggs provide around 3,200 to 6,400 Stardust.

Shiny Cutiefly is making its debut during this Pokemon GO event. A fresh, rare monster is always worth your time because it's new.

Furthermore, Stardust is always an important resource in this game. Since you are getting a 2x Stardust bonus, we feel you should allot some time from your schedule to Pokemon GO during this event.

You can get a lot of the aforementioned resource from just catching random monsters. If you activate a few Star Pieces while playing, you will get an additional 50% Stardust as long as they are running in your game.
