Pokemon GO Festival of Lights is an annually recurring event, but in 2024, it will be exclusive to trainers in India. This could be part of The Pokemon Company's increased engagement with the market in the subcontinent. The event will last from 10 am local time on November 1 up to 8 pm local time on November 4, 2024. It will mark the debut of Pikachu wearing a saree in Pokemon GO.

Best tips and tricks to make the most out of Pokemon GO Festival of Lights in 2024
You can make the most of the Festival of Lights in Pokemon GO by doing the following things:
- Crack open a Star Piece and a Lucky Egg to increase your Stardust and XP gains even further.
- Look at the current Pokemon GO Rocket Grunt lineup and try to complete as many of these battles as possible to farm up the best PvP and PvE picks from this slot. With the Mankey Community Day coming up soon finding some Shadow Mankey to evolve into Shadow Annihilape with Rage Fist is a good idea.
- Utilize Incense to increase the number of spawns around you. This will help you take advantage of the other event bonuses as well.
- With the 2x Catch Stardust bonus active, try to capture as many Morelull as possible as it already gives additional Stardust when caught.
