The Pokemon GO G-Max Lapras Max Battle Day is scheduled on December 7, 2024, from 2 - 5 pm local time. It marks the creature's debut in Niantic's mobile game and during this time, G-Max Lapras will take over all Power Spots near you. You can challenge it using 800 Max Particles alongside up to 39 other trainers.

• Gigantamax Lapras will make its debut in six-star Max Battles [Shiny encounters will be available].
• Max Mushrooms will be available for the first time. Using this item doubles the damage output during Max Battles.

Event bonuses

The following bonuses will be active during the event (2 - 5 pm local time):

• Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
• All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles
• Power Spots will refresh more frequently
• 8x Max Particles from Power Spots

The following bonuses will be in play from 12 am - 5 pm local time on December 8, 2024:

• 2× Max Particles from exploring
• 1/4 adventuring distance to receive Max Particles

For the second set of bonuses to be active, the MP available in the Nearby tab must be collected first.

Event ticket

A Pokemon GO G-Max Lapras Max Battle Day ticket will be available for $5.00 (or equivalent regional pricing). This will give you access to an exclusive Timed Research that will give out the following rewards, among other things:

• 1 Max Mushroom
• 25,000 XP

• Communicate with your local group and pre-plan where you will meet and the locations you will visit to complete these raids.
