What is super-effective against Gigantamax Lapras?

Gigantamax Lapras is a Water- and Ice-type Pocket Monster that takes super-effective damage from Fighting-, Electric-, Rock-, and Grass-type attacks. Find Dynamax attackers that know Fast Attacks of these types for the best chance of defeating the Power Spot boss.

Charged Attacks are next to useless in G-Max battles, so prioritize using the best 'mons in your collection for their Fast Attacks. These will also determine the Max Moves they use (unless they are G-Max attackers).

Here are the Max Moves that are super-effective against Gigantamax Lapras in Pokemon GO:

Fighting - Max Knuckle
Electric - Max Lightning and G-Max Stun Shock
Rock - Max Rockfall
Grass - Max Overgrowth and G-Max Vine Lash

Before the Lapras Max Battle Day, there will be no available Dynamax Pokemon that can use STAB Max Rockfall.

Best strategy to defeat 6-star Pokemon GO Gigantamax Lapras Max Battles

The best way to defeat Pokemon GO Gigantamax Lapras Max Battles is as follows:

Lead with Dynamax or G-Max Blastoise. It resists all moves but Skull Bash. If the Power Spot boss has Skull Bash and you don't want to increase the challenge level significantly, relobby.
Use only Water Gun with Blastoise to charge the Dynamax Meter. Once full, Dynamax the creature and use Max Guard thrice. This will keep you and your allies relatively safe from incoming damage for a while.
Keep attacking with Water Gun till you fill your Meter again. This time send out G-Max Toxtricity or G-Max Venusaur.
Use your creature's signature Max Move three times.
Send your healer in. Charge the meter to full and use Max Spirit thrice.
Repeat this cycle until the Power Spot boss faints.
