The Pokemon GO Goomy Community Day is right around the corner, and there are a lot of bonuses that you can get from it. You can participate in it on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. With increased Goomy spawns and boosted shiny odds, this event is sure to be fun.

You will get the following bonuses during the Pokemon GO Goomy Community Day event:

• Goomy will have increased spawns around you during the event
• You will get 3x Stardust bonus for catching Pokemon during the event
• Incense used during the Community Day will last for three hours
• Lure Modules used during the Community Day event will last for three hours
• You will get 2x Candy boost for catching Pokemon
• You will have 2x chance of getting Candy XL for catching monsters
• You can make one additional Special Trade during this event
• Trades will be 50% cheaper during the Community Day

How to prepare for the Pokemon GO Goomy Community Day event

With the 3x Stardust bonus, the Goomy Community Day will give you a lot of Stardust for catching Pokemon when you activate a Star Piece. The event bonus, paired with the Star Piece bonus, will give you a 4.5x Stardust bonus for every Pocket Monster you catch. This means you will get 450 Stardust for every Goomy catch.

You can use Origin Dialga's Roar of Time Adventure Effect to freeze the timer on the Star Piece. This way, you will not waste too many premium items while playing.

You can also use Incense to improve the flow of Pokemon. The more Pocket Monsters you catch, the more Stardust you will earn from the Community Day event bonus.

The Slumbering Sands event in Pokemon GO will be active during the Community Day. So, using a Lucky Egg will help you improve the 1.5x Catch XP bonus the Slumbering Sands event offers.

If you haven't evolved your Poipole into Naganadel, it is advisable to make Poipole your Buddy Pokemon to complete the task needed for its evolution (Catch 20 Dragon-type Pokemon with Poipole as your Buddy).

There is a 2x Catch Candy bonus, but you can use Pinap Berries to increase the Candy Bonus further. This can be handy for farming Goomy Candies as the Pokemon is not the easiest to come by.
