Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Part 1: Schedule, event bonuses, and more

Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Part 1 is live around the world. The event marks the debut of Morpeko and Dynamax Gastly in-game. The former has different forms that trainers can play around with, while the latter is a new addition to Max Battles. We have gathered all the available information regarding the ongoing event below.

Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Part 1 event overview

Schedule and event bonuses

The event starts on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 10 am local time to Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10 am local time. The event bonuses are:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
• Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Umbreon in raids and Shiny Zorua in the wild.

Morpeko is making its Pokemon GO debut, with the ability to change its forms while battling Team GO Rocket and in the GO Battle League. The following information regarding its Charged Attack:

• Aura Wheel (Electric): Active in Full Belly Mode.
• Aura Wheel (Dark): Active in Hangry Mode.

Aura Wheel has 100 power in Trainer Battles and increases the user's Attack by one stage. GO Battle League rewards will also provide Morpeko encounters from now on.

The pocket monsters with an increased spawn rate in the wild during the event are as follows:
