With the conclusion of Part 1, Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 is online worldwide. It continues the seasonal festivities, with trainers witnessing the debut of Froakie and Rowlet in Halloween costumes. Coming to event bonuses, there's also an increased chance for trainers to come across Shiny Zorua in the wild.

Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Part 2 event overview

Schedule and event bonuses

The Halloween 2024 Part 2 event began on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10 am local time and will continue until Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 8 pm local time.

The event bonuses are as follows:

  • 2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Zorua in the wild.
  • Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws or better.
  • On October 31, costumed Pokemon will have a small chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught with Nice Throws or better.

Trainers have an increased possibility of coming across the following pocket monster's shiny variants in raids:

  • Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Umbreon
  • Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume

Trainers have an increased possibility of coming across the following pocket monster's shiny variants from egg hatches:

  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Pichu wearing a witch hat
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume

Wild encounters and egg hatches

Trainers will encounter the following Pokemon with an increased spawn rate in the wild during Halloween 2024 Part 2:

  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Shuppet [shiny encounter available]
  • Piplup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Woobat [shiny encounter available]
  • Zorua [shiny encounter available]
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Inkay [shiny encounter available]
  • Phantump [shiny encounter available]
  • Pumpkaboo wearing a Spooky Festival costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]

The following 7 km egg hatches are available during the event:

  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Pichu wearing a witch hat [shiny encounter available]
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]

Raids and Max Battles

Gigantamax Gengar is set to debut in six-star Max Battles in Pokemon GO during Halloween 2024 Part 2. It will be available from October 31 at 10 am local time to November 3 at 8 pm local time.

The following raid bosses are active during the Halloween 2024 Part 2 event:

One-Star Raids

  • Pikachu wearing a witch hat [shiny encounter available]
  • Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume [shiny encounter available]

Three-Star Raids

  • Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume [shiny encounter available]
  • Umbreon [shiny encounter available]
  • Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume [shiny encounter available]
