Best tips and tricks for Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1
Doing the following things can help you make the most out of the Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 event:
- Use Lucky Eggs generously: The event will give you twice the XP for capturing Pocket Monsters. You can increase this to 3x by using a Lucky Egg every now and then.
- Buy the Eggs-pedition Access Ticket: There are some interesting Egg hatches available. You can get bonus rewards and resources if you have this ticket active on your account.
- Make a priority list of costumed Pokemon you want to catch: It can be overwhelming to see so many different costumed Pokemon, especially given these are great collection items. As such, make sure to go through your storage to see what you already have, so that you can focus on the rest. Check out our list of the top costumed Pocket Monsters in Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1.
- Mega Evolve an Ice-type Pokemon: Many of the event spawns and raids are Ice-type Pocket Monsters. Therefore, Mega Evolving an Ice-type like Mega Glalie or Mega Abomasnow will give you additional Catch Candy — especially useful if you are trying to build an Alolan Sandslash, which is the most impressive PvP pick.
