To maximize your XP earnings from the Inbound from Ultra Space event, it is advisable to use Lucky Eggs as there will be a 2x XP bonus for the first two days of the event. So, with the Lucky Egg active, you will get a 4x XP bonus.

It is also advisable to get the event-related ticket for US$ 5 to get 5,000 additional XP for completing raids. So, with the ticket, the Lucky Egg, and the bonus, you will get 30,000 XP for every successful 5-star Raid. This will be useful, particularly during Pokemon GO's Ultra Beast Raid Hour.
