Pokemon GO Into the Wild: Schedule, event bonuses, and more

As trainers eagerly wait for Wild Area, the Pokemon GO Into the Wild event is gradually coming online around the world. Electric- and Poison-type encounters are set to be featured on the occasion, with Toxel making its global debut as a 10 km egg hatch.

Pokemon GO Into the Wild event overview

Schedule, event bonuses, and Pokemon debut

Into the Wild runs from Monday, November 18, at 12.01 am local time to Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11.59 pm local time. The event bonuses are as follows:

• Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from Monday, November 18, to Thursday, November 21, 2024.
• No limit on Remote Raids from Friday, November 22, to Sunday, November 24, 2024.
• On Monday, November 18, there will be an increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Max Battles when challenging Dynamax Drilbur.

As mentioned earlier, Toxel makes its global Pokemon GO debut. Trainers have a chance of encountering it while hatching 10 km Eggs, with lucky players having a chance of finding a shiny variant.

Into the Wild Paid Tickets

The following event-exclusive tickets are available between Monday, November 18, at 12.01 am local time to Friday, November 22, 2024, at 8 pm local time. The Timed Research involved needs to be completed by 8 pm local each day.

Raids

It costs $5.00 and gives access to event-exclusive daily Timed Research and raid-themed bonuses. The former will sport rewards like:

• 20 Poké Balls
• 1,000 XP
• 2,000 Stardust
• 3 Toxel Candy
• 1 Toxel Candy XL

The themed bonuses for this ticket are:

• Up to 2 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
• 5,000 additional XP from completed raids
• 1 additional Candy from Pokémon in four-star, five-star, Mega, Ultra Beast, and Primal Raids

Hatch

This ticket costs $5.00 too and will provide trainers with event-exclusive Timed Research and hatch-themed event bonuses. The Timed Research rewards will be:

• 20 Poké Balls
• 1,000 XP
• 2,000 Stardust
• 3 Toxel Candy
• 1 Toxel Candy XL

The hatch-themed ticket bonuses are:

• Increased chance of hatching Toxel from 10 km Eggs
• 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance
• 2× Hatch Stardust
• 2× Hatch XP
• 2× Hatch Candy
• 1 single-use Incubator per day from spinning PokéStops

Max Battles will feature Dyanamx Drilbur. We encourage trainers to catch one so that they can get a Dynamax Excadrill — this will be handy in dealing with Dynamax and Gigantamax Toxtricity in Wild Area.

Collection Challenges and Field Research

Event-themed Collection Challenges and Field Research tasks will be available during the Into the Wild event in Pokemon GO.

The Into the Wild Field Research tasks and rewards are as follows:

• Catch 5 Electric-type Pokemon: Mareep encounter [shiny encounter possible], 3x Toxel Candy, 5x Poke Ball, or 3x Great Ball
• Catch 5 Poison-type Pokemon: Gastly encounter [shiny encounter possible], 3x Toxel Candy, 5x Poke Ball, or 3x Great Ball
• Hatch an Egg: 3x Toxel Candy or 500x Stardust
• Hatch 3 Eggs: Flaaffy encounter or 3x Toxel Candy XL
• Battle in a raid: 3x Toxel Candy or 500x Stardust
• Battle in 3 raids: Haunter encounter or 3x Toxel Candy XL
• Power up Pokemon 5 times: 500x Stardust, Gulpin encounter [shiny encounter possible], or Emolga encounter [shiny encounter possible]
