Pokemon GO Just My Cup of Tea is the first event in the new season, Dual Destiny, and marks the debut of two new Pokemon. Sinistea and Polteageist are making their first in-game appearances, although their shiny variants aren't currently available. There's plenty to enjoy during the event, including a Collection Challenge, Timed Research, and more.

Pokemon GO Just My Cup of Tea event overview

Schedule, Pokemon debuts, and event bonuses

Pokemon GO Just My Cup of Tea started on Tuesday, December 3, at 10 am local time and concludes on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 8 pm local time. The event bonuses are as follows:

• 2× friendship bonus damage in raids.
• 50% more Stardust from completing raids.

As mentioned before, Sinistea, the Black Tea Pokemon, and Polteageist debuted in the game with the ongoing event. The former is available as part of 1-star raids and as a reward encounter for completing the event-themed Collection Challenge. Evolving Sinistea with 50 Sinistea Candy will net you its evolution, Polteageist.
