The Mega Rayquaza Elite Raid Timed Research provides Pokemon GO trainers an opportunity to get a Meteorite in-game. The item is involved in the process of mega evolving Rayquaza. Other than that, trainers can also get XP, Poke Ball, Nanab Berry, Stardust, Revive, and Rayquaza stickers.

Mega Rayquaza Elite Raids take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the following times (given in local time):

The Mega Rayquaza Elite Raid Timed Research is a free questline available to every player during the event. The tasks and rewards involved are as follows:

Step 1 of 1

• Use a supereffective Charged Attack - 1000 XP
• Complete 5 Field Research tasks - 20x Poke Ball
• Win a raid - 5x Nanab Berry
• Win an Elite Raid - 5x Rayquaza Sticker
• Rewards; 1000x Stardust, 3x Revive, 1x Meteorite

Getting Rayquaza to undergo the mega evolution transformation requires one that already knows the Charged Attack Dragon Ascent. Meteorites are required to learn the latter. This makes Mega Rayquaza unique from other mega evolutions.
