Pokemon GO New Year's 2025 Timed Research: Tasks and rewards

The Pokemon GO New Year's 2025 event provides themed Field Research and Timed Research questlines for players to participate in. The occasion also has a paid Timed Research, which provides Stardust, Premium Battle Pass, and Lucky Egg for completion.

The New Year's 2025 event began on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 10 am local time and will end on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 8 pm local time. Several Pokemon with cosmetics are available during the event, including Pikachu in a beanie hat and Jigglypuff with a ribbon.

The New Year's 2025 Paid Timed Research costs US$2.00 (or the same in the player's local currency).

The New Year's 2025 event provides trainers with 2025 XP for catching pocket monsters with Excellent Throws. During the occasion, players will also see festive fireworks in-game.
