Pokemon GO Fest Global 2024 is just a couple days away, so many players are gearing up for all of the content that will soon appear in the beloved mobile title. One of the many ways trainers choose to play the game is by hunting for rare variants of the namesake creatures with alternate color palettes.

These shiny Pokemon are as beloved in the main series as they are in the mobile spin-off. Many players like to collect them in Pokemon GO before transfering them to the Pokemon Home application.

User Delicious_Milk7114 posted a helpful checklist on the Pokemon GO subreddit detailing all of the shiny Pokemon that can be encountered during GO Fest Global 2024.

The habitat feature in GO Fest Global 2024 may cause some confusion among players. However, these sections simply break up encounter tables to keep the game fresh during long play sessions.

User huhgry4nuns highlighted the Unown forms that can be seen during the event. These creatures take the design of every letter in the english alphabet, so when Niantic includes them for an event, they normally spell out a word.

In this case, every form of Unown that is available spells out night and day, fitting with Solgaleo and Lunala's debut in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Meanwhile, Redditor BingoBob_1 mentioned a passive bonus that players can receive if they purchase a ticket for GO Fest Global 2024.

This bonus will increase the shiny rates of every Pokemon that trainers encounter for the duration of the event. It will also give these ticketholders access to these Unown spawns via the usage of Incense.

Tips for shiny hunting during Pokemon GO Fest Global

There are a few methods players can use to increase the effectiveness of their shiny hunts during the Pokemon GO Fest Global 2024. Buying the ticket is a great place to start. Niantic does not disclose the exact increase to shiny odds for ticketholders. However, having the ticket, which costs $14.99, will make shiny hunting much easier.

In addition, players can also use Lure Modules and Incense to increase the general spawn rate of Pocket Monsters around them. While these items will not increase the shiny rates of wild critters, they will decrease the time it would take for one to hypothetically spawn.
