The best chance trainers have to obtain a shiny Mightyena is to first find a shiny Poochyena and evolve it by collecting numerous Poochyena candies. Using the strategies mentioned prior, this should be easy to do.

Once players have their shiny Poochyena, the next step is to collect a total of 50 Poochyena candies. Since Poochyena is a fairly common creature this time of year, this should be relatively easy to do.
