Pokemon GO Showdown in the Shadows Giovanni Special Research: All tasks and rewards

The Pokemon GO Halloween 2023 Team GO Rocket Takeover event has finally begun, and with it has arrived Showdown in the Shadows Giovanni Special Research. Completing the questline will allow trainers to encounter the Team GO Rocket Boss and catch his Shadow Regigigas. The event also brings a host of Shadow Pokemon and changes in the Pokemon lineups of Team GO Rocket leaders.

The Halloween 2023 Team GO Rocket Takeover event will run from Thursday, October 26, at 10 AM local time and continue until Tuesday, October 31, at 8 PM local time.

The Giovanni Special Research is available for free and can be claimed anytime before December 1, 2023, at 10 AM local time. Trainers need to keep in mind that they will have to complete any unfinished Giovanni Special Research questlines before the latest one shows up.
