Pokemon GO Simply Groundbreaking brings event-themed Field Research and Timed Research tasks for trainers to complete. The rewards for completing them are Drilbur encounters and Drilbur Candy.

Simply Groundbreaking began on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10 am local time and will come to an end on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 8 pm local time. The occasion marks the debut of Dynamax Drilbur in 1-star Max Battles. Furthermore, trainers will also enjoy an increased chance of encountering Shiny Drilburing during the event.

Win a Max. Battle - 40x Drilbur Candy
Spin 15 PokeStops or Gyms - Drilbur encounter
Use 15 Berries to help catch Pokemon - Drilbur encounter
Rewards: 5x Drilbur Candy XL (or 80x Drilbur Candy for trainers below level 30), 5000 XP, 1000x Stardust

Apart from Simply Groundbreaking, Pokemon GO trainers are eagerly waiting for the global rendition of the Wild Area event scheduled to take place later next weekend. It takes place from Saturday, November 23, at 10 am local time to Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 6.15 pm local time.

Currently, the event is taking place in person in Fukuoka, Japan, with players seeing the debut of Toxitricity and Dynamax Toxitricity. The occasion also features event-exclusive Safari Balls, which will allow trainers to have an easier time catching Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO.

Meanwhile, trainers worldwide will get to experience the Into the Wild event starting early next week, which will lead up to Wild Area. The occasion will mark the debut of Toxel globally in 10 km eggs, with lucky trainers encountering the shiny variant.
