In a relatively hidden message on the Pokemon GO Holiday Part 2 event details page, Niantic mentioned that from 10 am local time on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, to 8 pm local time on Sunday, January 5, 2025, Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long. This will give you at least 30 minutes each day to look for the ever-elusive Galarian Birds in Pokemon GO.
This is an excellent bonus as Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno are among the rarest and most sought-after critters in their game for their aesthetic and somewhat relevant PvP and PvE value. What makes this bonus the best chance is the fact that it allows F2P players, who might not be able to afford several rounds of Roar of Time Adventure Effect, a fair chance to hunt for Galarian Birds in Pokemon GO.

You are not guaranteed to encounter Galarian Birds in Pokemon GO simply because this bonus will be active. However, having twice the hunting time can multiply your chances of encountering one by the same factor.
Earlier Pokemon GO players reportedly found a "trick" to encounter Galarian Birds. This seemingly suggested that the rare creatures spawned only in specific spots and their appearance was not as randomized as was believed by the community. Therefore, it would be best to mix up your routes if you have not had much luck on your Daily Incence adventures so far.
Given that you will have 30 minutes as compared to the regular 15, you can explore new areas to see if you have better luck in these places.
While on the lookout for the Galarian Birds during this period, you should make sure to have some basic things in order. Have enough Ultra Balls and Golden Razz Berries in your stock as the creatures are known to have abysmally low catch rates and extremely high flee rates.
Shiny Galarian Birds will be available. They are guaranteed catches as long as you are not moving too fast and do not run out of Poke Balls before catching them.
Lastly, if you have the option, use the benefit of Roar of Time to extend some of your walks for more than 30 minutes for the added boost of luck.
