Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day is upon us, and trainers have plenty to do in the event. We have an event-exclusive Special Research, event bonuses, and featured attacks. This is on top of the boosted spawn rate of Sprigatito in the wild during the three hours.

Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day event overview

Date & time and event bonuses

Sprigatito Community Day takes place on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. The event bonuses are as follows:

3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day. [starts at 2 pm local time and ends at 10 pm local time]
Trades will require 50% less Stardust. [starts at 2 pm local time and ends at 10 pm local time]

Featured attack

A Meowscarada with Charged Attack Frenzy Plant is up for grabs for trainers who evolve Floragato during January 2025 Community Day or up to five hours afterward. The featured attack has 100 power in trainer battles, gym battles, and raids. Sportskeeda's Pokemon GO Evolution Calculator can provide the CP details for Sprigatito's evolutions.

Post Sprigatito Community Day, Meowscarada will be able to learn Charged Attack Flower Trick (30 power in trainer battles and 75 power in gyms and raids).

Special Research, Field Research, and Timed Research

Trainers can pick up the Sprigatito Community Day Special Research for US$2.00. Event-themed Field Research tasks are also available. Players can check out our PokeStop Showcase guide to learn which Pokemon are being featured currently.

Logging in during January 2025 Community Day will net players a Timed Research questline that rewards a Sprigatito with a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background. This Timed Research expires on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 10 pm local time.
